Amanda & Derek Bylina were married on August 19th, 2011 at St. Cyril & Methodious church in Hartford, CT. It was a gorgeous day, a gorgeous couple and a gorgeous ceremony. The parents of the groom actually were married at St. Cyril as well! Derek and Amanda’s emotions were so evident throughout the entire day, their interaction so honest, so sweet, so real. Derek and Amanda have known each other since freshman year of high school, they chased each other around for about four years but started dating the year after graduation. You would think that because they have been together, like forever, they may have lost a little passion, but not the case at all, these two are so obviously, refreshingly wrapped up in each other, and it makes them so fun to watch as a couple. We took photographs after the wedding at City Hall in Hartford, we were doing really well for time so we were able to take allot of time with just Derek and Amanda, and I’m ecstatic about how the images turned out. After City Hall, we headed towards Cascade, when they arrived we took some photographs with the empty dance hall when everything was prepped, and they also turned out stunning:) I worked with Todd from Jock in the Box again on a day of slide show….it turned out great, check it out here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45IJqJuApwg(the song behind the pictures was a song that one of the uncles actually sang the day after the wedding) Thanks again Todd for a successful day of slide show, always a pleasure….looking for a DJ, call Todd, he absolutely rocks:) I also worked with Tama Ehlers, and Megan LaBarbera while shooting the wedding, both amazing woman and great to work with!
