This is Beckie, David, and Gretchen, we had quite an adventure on this shoot. It was the day of the MAJOR FALL snowstorm that left virtually the whole state of Connecticut without power for many days, some even over a week. Well we were just having a grand old time the morning of this now historic storm and I LOVE the way the photographs turned out. We took photographs at Roger’s Orchards in Southington, it was a great location and a great place to stock up on some pie and produce! Everytime I see little Gretchen it brings me back to the first day that I met her when she was just an itty bitty preemie baby at the NICU in Farmington. Her little nook was right next to Brevinn’s while he was there. We got to know Beckie and David, and I offered to take photographs of them while at the hospital. I’ll never forget how tiny she was….and even as tiny as she was I remember taking a photograph of her smiling…don’t believe me…well do…amazing right!!! Well she sure is a happy little girl and has just the spark of life in her giggles and smiles! Beckie and David, it’s always a pleasure, many blessings to you all!!! Happy Thanksgiving!!! And happy electricity back on!!! LOL

And yes, you DID capture her first smile when she was about 2 wks old, about 2 1/2 lbs. and still connected to all the sensors and wires. I wouldn’t have believed it either, if I didn’t see it myself. We used that photo for her birth announcements. Now she’s a healthy, happy, still tiny but incredibly active 3 yr. old.
She’s really grown up in front of your lens and we couldn’t be more pleased.
