So this classy duo is Dana and Johnny, they are brilliant and beautiful and in their lives family is evidently and obviously very valuable. It’s been so wonderful to witness their love and consideration for one another and each other’s families. From beginning to end this day was exquisite, Dana got all dolled up at the Hair Loft of Riverdale Farms in Avon. Then we went back to Dana’s home where she got dressed and we took some photographs in the deep cranberry colored dining room, mmm-mmm love that color! We also took portraits of family and the bridesmaids in the backyard, the eggplant dresses and the multicolored red and orange flowers just popped in the natural light of mid-day! Dana & Johnny were then married at the beautiful St. James Episcopal Church in West Hartford. After the ceremony we took family photos and portraits of the bride and groom in front of the red door that adorns the front of the church. Then headed to The Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station, for photographs along the river overlooking the Opera House. For Dana & Johnny’s first dance they had taken dancing lessons, and absolutely nailed the performance. The speeches from the maids of honor and best men were filled with many laughs yet much love, and the dance floor was rocking all night! I’m so excited about the memories we captured thanks to my fearless and fantastic assistants who were with me, Melissa Arel and Tama Ehlers. Dana & Johnny, it was truly an honor to be able to capture your wedding day! Much Love and Many Blessings to you both this first Christmas as Mr. & Mrs. Matos!!! ENJOY!!!
