Everything about this wedding stood for the love of autumn, from the romantically lit cozy dinner room at the Mill on the River to the intimate ceremony with the sun falling and glistening rich fall colors. Even our photography session at City hall contained a variety of reds and oranges. Our big surprise at City Hall was a modern art mural they had hanging on the second level, it was STUNNING, loud lines and vibrant color, which is Brenda’s style to the tee, and if anyone knows me, well HELLO!!! Brenda and Luis are from Venezuela and met while both working for ESPN. Luis is an on air talent for ESPN Deportes and the Latin version of ESPN. Luis’s three sons were a part of the wedding party as his groomsmen. I loved being able to witness this merging of two families and two cultures. One of my favorite parts of the day was the “Crazy Hour” at the reception when everyone was prompted to wear crazy hats, glasses and beyond!!! I also wanted to note that I worked with several amazing professionals at this wedding including Don of Vividography, his work is powerful and cinematic in style and he is a joy to work with! Also, Melissa Arel and Tama Ehlers, my magnificent assistants for the day! Brenda and Luis’s wedding took place on November 4th, one week after the snow storm that shut down our state! It was amazing that everything still went just as planned for them and they had an absolutely God sent autumn day!
